When drafting, consideration has been given to the long-term interests of the company and its clients, the relevant international context, and societal support. It aims to prevent rewards from leading to improper treatment of clients, taking excessive risks in the area of sustainability, or other risky behaviors that could have a negative effect on the managed investment portfolios, on Wilton Investment Services as an investment firm, as well as on the financial sector as a whole.
This remuneration policy serves, among other things, to comply with Articles 1:111 to 1:127 of the Financial Supervision Act. These rules together form the remuneration policy as it applies to the categories of employees of Wilton. The variable remuneration is determined by the management, may not exceed 20% of the fixed salary, and applies to a maximum of 10 employees. The remuneration policy is updated annually on this website and reviewed by our external Compliance Officer.
Based on Article 1:121 of the Wft, Wilton Family Office is required to report the variable remuneration on this website: the total variable remuneration for the year 2024 was gross €55,179,-. Furthermore, the Wft requires stating that no employee has received a total compensation (fixed and variable) of €1 million or more in 2023.
